Gale was 18 when she won a modeling competition at the age of 18 in Perth. Gale won a modeling contest in Perth at the age of 18. After many years of the field, Gale became famous when she was chosen to star in an advertisement for Omnitel the Italian telecoms business (now Vodafone Italy). She appeared in their advertisements through 2006, and she was retained in 2003 with the Australian Tourist Commission as the face for Australia for Italy.' Gale has appeared on the cover of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in editorials of Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale has been a model at Italian fashion houses, including Gianfranco Ferre Genny, Gai Mattiolo and also runway for Mariella Burani as well as Angelo Marani at Milan Fashion Week. 9 Gale likes a lot of Australian designers, such as Colette Dinnigan, Kirrily Johnston, Lisa Ho, Willow and Alex Perry. She was in 2006 when she served as presenter for the Australian television awards known as the Logies.
